The short version
Play Room Criteria is free to read because we earn affiliate commissions. When you click a “Visit site” button and later register with an operator, that brand may pay us a referral fee. You are not charged extra — the commission comes from the operator's marketing budget.
What that does not change
Affiliate income does not buy top placement. Letter grades, head-to-head verdicts and comparison table values follow our published methodology. We list operators we believe are worth comparing, not every brand willing to pay. If we remove an operator, it is because the comparison no longer holds up — not because a deal ended.
How links are marked
Outbound operator links use rel="sponsored noopener nofollow" and carry tracking parameters so networks can attribute referrals. Those codes are placeholders until live affiliate accounts are connected. The destination is always the operator's official UK site.
Our independence
We are not owned by any casino group, sportsbook or payment provider. We do not run games, hold player funds or issue bonuses. We are a comparison publisher — nothing more. Editorial questions belong on our about page; account issues belong with the operator.
